Who can the Centre help?
The primary focus of the work of The Saint Melangell Centre is to provide therapeutic support, counselling and psychotherapy to individuals with emotional, spiritual or mental health needs.
The Centre provides support for:
• individuals needing professional counselling and psychotherapy for emotional or psychological difficulties
• People needing long term professional counselling and psychotherapy
• People who have found it difficult to access conventional counselling and support services. This may be for reasons such as long waiting lists within the health service, or cost
• Organisations, groups and parishes requiring facilities for retreats, quiet days or 'away days'. These can be arranged with or without a Centre facilitator to lead the day. Please speak to the Centre Co-ordinator to arrange a booking.
Importantly there is no charge made for the therapy provided to individuals in need, though donations are always welcome from any who can afford to give.
