How the Saint Melangell Centre is funded

The Saint Melangell Centre relies on the generosity of individuals, churches and organisations to enable the continuation of our work.

The central focus of the Saint Melangell Centre is to provide high standards of counselling and psychotherapy support, free of charge, to people who can least afford it. As a rough guide, it costs about £40.00 per session to pay for therapy privately. Therapists need to attend regular supervision and complete at least thirty hours of professional development each year to keep their professional registration up to date.

It costs at least £500 per week to run the Saint Melangell Centre and continue to provide services without charge.

We need your help in order to maintain and develop the provision of services. You can contribute in many different ways:
